udig is a platform for discovering live music and rating the artists and shows you experience from the floor. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We collect the minimum we need to run the service and never sell your personal data.
1.Who we are
udig is operated by Juturna. When this policy says “we,” “us,” or “udig,” it refers to that operator. We act as the data controller for the information described below.
2.Information we collect
We collect only what the product needs to work:
- Account data. Your email address and the role(s) you hold — listener, artist, or both. Authentication is handled by Supabase.
- Profile data. For artists: name, city, country, bio, profile photo, and the streaming/social links you choose to add. For listeners: an optional display name.
- Activity data. The ratings, reviews, shows, venues, and artists you interact with, and the artists you follow.
- Verification data. For artist accounts, the artist name and verification links you submit so we can review the claim.
- Technical data. Standard log and device information needed to keep sessions secure and the service reliable.
3.How we use your information
- To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
- To power your dashboards — listener ratings, places, and following; artist audience, geography, shows, and reviews.
- To verify artist claims and manage role-based access (listener, artist, admin).
- To operate, maintain, and improve the service.
- To communicate with you about your account or material changes to the service.
4.Public information
Some content is public by design. Artist profiles, public event pages, and aggregate ratings can be viewed by anyone. Treat anything you publish to a public profile or review as visible to others. Your email address is never shown publicly.
5.Service providers
We rely on a small set of processors to run udig, including Supabase (authentication, database, and file storage) and Vercel (hosting). These providers process data only on our instructions and under their own security commitments.
6.Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations.
7.Your rights and choices
You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. To make a request, contact us using the email below. We do not sell your personal data.
8.Security
We use industry-standard measures — encrypted connections, scoped access, and managed infrastructure — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe and to limit who can access it.
9.Children
udig is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from them.
10.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
